Adam Brandy comes from a showbiz family. His father was one of the top press
agents in the entertainment industry and his mother was a Vegas showgirl. He
also has two sisters who are actresses. Makeup became the path for Brandy due to
his teenage obsession with Universal's movie monsters and the artists who
created them. A lot has happened since that early love affair with makeup
artistry. Brandy trained at the Westmore Academy of Cosmetic Arts and put in a
yearlong apprenticeship at Makeup Effects Laboratory, beginning his career as a
film and Television Makeup Artist in 1988. During his career, Brandy was awarded
an Emmy for his work on HBO's “Deadwood”, and has served as a personal makeup
artist to celebrities Eminem, Val Kilmer, Samuel L. Jackson and Kevin Spacey. He
has contributed his no-limit artistry to hundreds of notable film and Television
projects such as “Meeting Evil”, “Savannah”, “The Samaritan”, “The Other Guys”,
“The Sunset Limited”, “Shrink”, “Black Snake Moan”, “Basic”, “Man in the Chair”,
“Three Kings”, “Fading of the Cries”, “C’mon Man” and “Star Trek: Voyager”.
